ParticipantHey Guys…my brother Ron turns 60 on September 16, 2016– one day before this years Blue Mountain Centurion C100 (160km, 1,700m elev)). This now puts him in the 60-64 age category. Looking at his time last year and his developing form, we think he has a chance to podium this year. To help make this happen, we’re looking for some super-domestiques to keep him out of the wind and pace him to the finish line. So far, we have two riders, Jean Francois Hivon and me. We’re not exactly super-domestiques so it would be great to have some strong riders join us. In appreciation for our suffering, Ron is providing steaks and Belgian beers at his campsite in Craigleith Provincial Park after the race.
Meat. Fire. Beer. Along with riding your bike–the essential elements of life.
Talk to me at an upcoming ride or send me an email at wilfred@pr.uoguelph.ca if you are interested. If you haven’t registered for the race yet, the lower rate runs until July 15.
