I received a promotional email regarding the following event, and thought some club members may be interested.
TOUR De WATERLOO Kitchener- Waterloo, June 20, 2010 The 1st Annual Tour de Waterloo will be held on Sunday, June 20th at Kiwanis Park to raise money for the Grand River Hospital Foundation Architects of Care). All proceeds will be donated to the hospital's Intensive Care and Inpatient Oncology Units. Offering a 130km or 70km route, the ride is perfect for cyclists of all levels. Participants will ride through scenic Waterloo and Wellington County, passing through small towns, the Elora Gorge, and the last covered bridge in Ontario. The event has something to offer for everyone. Participants and their families are invited to come along and enjoy the post-ride barbeque, swimming at the park, and hiking trails.
