Looks like the weather for tonight's ride will cooperate, despite the rain over the last few days. Here is a suggested route for tonight -- going out in a little different direction than normal:
http://speedrivercyclingclub.org/pdf/Route%20D1%20-%20Extended%20Maryhill%20Loop.pdf Route length: ~50km Depending on the numbers of people that show up, we'll split into "a" and "b" groups depending on speed. Purely from memory, I don't think there are any notable sprints or hills on this route. Corrections welcome! mk |

Going clockwise, there's a good blue sign at the end of 28, and on the way back into guelph there's a big fancy sign that has Guelph in big plastic blue letters, heading south on hwy 6 (?) just before crossing woodlawn. No hills though.

I wouldn't recommend a sprint coming south on hwy 6 into guelph.
Too much traffic for it to be safe. |

Well, the second group (me) hung with the first group for 13.5 km (which averaged 33.8 up to that point) and then dropped back (as agreed upon) and did the shorter version of the Maryhill loop, averaging 30.4 kph over the next (lonely) 21 km. Actually, I had a great time, but where are the other 30 kph riders?

it did look rather unpleasant ... but turned out to be quite nice in the end.
i'm going to apologize for not doing as I say and being a bit of a turd. had a bad day and was determined to get some intensity ... but also wanted to ride w/ the group. as a result we went a bit harder than a thursday should and that is a jerk move on my part. i do apologize guys. at the same time i am going to nominate mark keating for having the lowest cadence known to man. impressive. |

I agree, it was all Tim's fault.
