A bit of an old school route for this Tuesday.

The Route

Points of interest:

KOM: Eden Mills, Col du Watson, Watsonberg

Sprints: Moffat, Badenoch (Little known fact: Named in honour of Baden's first sign sprint victory..look it up) and of course Arkell

The Rules:

- Similar to the last few rides .....high average speed as a group

- Soft pedal after each KOM or sprint...allow those that were with the group when the sprint/climb started to get back on the group....no pirate tactics.

- Exception to the above:....Once we hit the Watsonberg it's full on pirate tactics until the sign in Arkell....regroup in Arkell.

- Most importantly NO DROPPING THE RIDE LEADER...at least not before the Watsonberg.

Weather looks good so see you all Tuesday night.

I think the map should go a bit further south if its going to hit the Col de Watson - but nice route, should be fun.

I think you should volunteer to be a ride leader and make your own maps.

It's 75K as is....if go further south we are into Campellville road which is a little too bumpy and busy at that time of night...not to mention hilly...lol.....further south than that and we are getting too long............plus we would miss your sign.

Will be at least a 2 hour ride now depending on wind.....gives us a little cushion with daylight incase anyone gets dropped or has a mechanical.

Oh I did volunteer. The schedule got filled up though, and now I'm the official forum-stalker and typo-tracker instead.

Btw, your personal message inbox is full and can't receive any more. I've been trying to spam you for months!

So another solid Tuesday night ride. 9 riders started out on a somewhat breezy but otherwise perfect evening. We covered just over 75k with an average speed of around 37kph when out of town (including soft pedalling to regroup a few times and a poorly timed train crossing).

Bayden cleaned up on all the KOM climbs (Eden Mills, Col du Watson and Watsonberg). Bayden also took the Moffat sprint but lead out the last 2 giving Mike a decisive sprint win into badenoch while Mark took the final Arkell sprint.

Good solid ride for sure.....hope to see more come out next week.
