route suggestion for tonight, i may not be able to make it, but will try. if not, i'm sure somebody will be there to take over as ride leader.
i think we'll have to start lowering the distances a bit, with sunset around 8:30 now... |

I'll be there, good route too.
And the rockwood KOM, always a debat there about where the summit is. We should put it in the books somehow WHICH summit is the KOM. Looking closely you see it does go downhill before the second, higher summit, so i'd say the first summit is where it's at. Just a thought. |

T'was good. Real good. Gotta say I'm really impressed with how consistent the turnout for tuesdays has been this year. I hardly understand why I myself look forward to being on the verge of puking every tuesday evening but hey, it works, and its a good time.
We set off with I think eight riders tonight, KOMS: Mill Rd.: Anton Rockwood: Anton, and Derek gets pretend points for givin' it to the man and solo-ing to the second summit. Arkell: Anton, but I'd like to see the photo finish of this one. Sprints: Oustic: Anton Rockwood: me Arkel: myself Definitely a good leg burner at ~39.6km/hr for the inside 41km including those six saucy sections. Edited by Bayden - 10 August 10 at 20:49 |

Although I never saw the open road in front of me I agree with Bayden it was a great ride, hanging on in the back at that speed. Thanks for wating for me after the KOM's, looking forward to next week!
