We’ll stalk the A-Team for the first half of the route so as to provide an option for any who might get shelled. Otherwise, us B-riders will strive to get around the course as quickly as the group will allow while remaining true to the Tuesday-B mandate… organized and steady but swift.
Note that the ‘official’ club ride will end unceremoniously at Victoria and Arkell, at which point riders are welcome to make their way home however they see fit… I’m going to do the Victoria-to-Stone-through-the-university thingie, as is depicted on the RWGPS map. Bring your blinkies if you got ’em!
This one is slightly different in that it has an out-and-back section. There aren’t any good paved options at that part so I figure this is the best way to do some roads that we don’t often see. I’ve been told it’s not too weird to do it this way.
Anyway, be careful on the turnaround on 5th line near Lake Belwood (there is a stop sign there) and it’ll probably be best to ride single file on 124 by Guelph Lake. Besides those caveats, this has some nice quiet country roads so watch for wildlife – deer, foxes, feral chickens etc.
