Southwest Winds and some nice fall temperatures! We’ll head to the Flying Monkey for a java at the 40km mark, and then southwest before heading back up Centre Line and Watson.
Winds from the southwest so we’ll head towards Cambridge. Possible coffee stop at the Flying Monkey (if required). The ride will stop in Arkell. Given this is the last Sunday ride of the month, we’ll be heading to Borealis for a beer after the ride. If you will be joining, don’t forget your wallet.
NOTE: I apologize in advance but I will need to bail early from the ride as I have another commitment at home. Please make sure you know the route.
Sunday Medium Ride Cancelled. I have ridden lots off-road in much colder weather but road riding in minus anything degrees is just a drag. If the long ride decides to brave the snow and the cold, I am sure they won’t mind adding a few penguins to keep warm. For the others, stay warm and enjoy the trainer just one more time. The warm weather is on its way.
This Sunday, there is both the Tour de Hans and a CX Race. As a result, we are going to combine the long and medium rides. The weather is looking really good for now. Start time is 9:00AM.
NOTE: Route change for this morning. We’ll be heading to Campbelleville in case anyone needs an expresso.
Ride is on. Winds have shifted slightly but we’ll stick to the same route. Happy Father’s Day! Looks like the wind will be coming from the southwest on Sunday so I built a new route to take us down to Safari Rd. There’s a coffee shop in Freelton in case we want to stop. There will be a very short section on Highway 6 where we’ll need to be careful and ride single file. The weather man is predicting thundershowers for Sunday AM. I will provide an update on Sunday by 8AM. Look forward to seeing everyone.
