Happy Mothers Day. It looks like we have awesome weather for those that are able to sneak away, we will head east up through Rockwood. Stop for nice coffee break in Belfountain after doing the Forks of the Credit climb. Then return through Erin, make sure to put on sunscreen.
It is not looking promising for Thursday being around 1 degree feeling like -5 and mildly windy. Most likely it will be cancelled but the weekend looks very promising.
Happy Thanksgiving weekend. The weather looks nice for this weekend we will be heading up to Belfountain. There is an extra loop for people that want a few extra kms while everyone else has a coffee break in Belfountain. As a treat on the way back we have some fresh tarmac on County road 50 to try out.
Ride Cancelled: Storm cells are tracking to pour all over the ride. We will take in a lot of scenic roads as we head through Dundas and Ancaster. We will stop in for a bite to eat in Waterdown after tackling Sydenham Hill. The weather looks like it should be perfect for a long day in the saddle.
Ride Cancelled – the storm cell doesn’t appear to be weakening. A shorter route to make sure were back before the sun sets. We will be taking in the Col du Watson twice as well as Watsonberg which should make it pretty punchy. There is a good chance of some showers in the afternoon and evening the call will be made by 5:30.
The weather doesn’t look to promising currently the call will be made by 8am Sunday morning. For the route we will head out past Guelph lake then head east on 22nd and come into Belfountain on the hilly side just in time for a coffee break. On the way back we will take 10th line to the edge of Georgetown and back out on 8th which should add some climbing in to the route. We approach Guelph through Eden mills and along Arkell.
