Well folks its time for the training wheels to come off. There may not be a ride leader on this ride so everyone has to promise to be on their best behaviour. The route will be a simple club staple and the weather should be just about perfect for riding.
There is rain on the radar but it should break up and stay south of us, so tonight we ride! Tonight we’ll head up north, swing by Rockwood Conservation and head up both 4th line hills, because going up hill is fun. With Halton having its love affair with chip seal I can’t guarantee there won’t be any gravel. Small chance of rain tonight so go/no-go will be made by 530. We should be back by dark with the early start, but bring lights in case.
UPDATE. The weather forecast has greatly improved so the ride is most likely a go. If something changes dramatically the final call will be made by 8 am on Sunday morning. The route will take us south to the rolling Halton country side where we will take the fun way up Twiss and loop back around for a coffee stop at the Flying Monkey. After refueling its up 6th line and back home.
