Heads up for Mur de Twiss, expect the dip then steep wall out of there at km 33. We’ll take it cool and safe, and mind the yellow line on the way up. As Andy mentioned below, this is my last week of club rides and therefor my last Tuesday.
Going to be a hot one! A slightly shorter route, as the sun is setting a bit earlier these days. Still aiming for the advertised 32-35kph average.
Nothing very innovative here but the roads do avoid most of the bad chip seal and the traffic from hillside.
One for the Garmin. In honour of the Alpine stages, we’ll do a bit of climbing (and descending). It should be hot again, but not so humid, so we’ll do the climbing early. A hose station on Rattlesnake and a stop at the Flying Monkey in Campbellville should keep up moving.
We will be once again looking for an 31/32KMH average speed for the B group. The A can have at it on the front but be safe on 32. Weathers looking perfect.
