We’re thrilled to announce that cyclocross racing will return to Guelph this fall, and at a great new venue to boot! Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 22nd, and plan to join us at the Guelph Lake Conservation Area for Guelph Cross 2016. Some details are still being finalized, but
Sunday’s ride will head south into Dundas for a Fall colour tour. The weather forecast is showing light rain, so a go/no go will be made by 10am. Note the 11am start!
Please note that Sunday club rides will be switching to an 11am start time for October, with the long and medium rides combined. Hopefully it stays warm for the whole month! Other non-club rides might be posted to the forum.
For those who missed it last Sundays ride was dedicated to Lance Armstrong the 7 time Tour de France Champion* since it was his birthday, this upcoming Sunday is Mark Hamill’s birthday so in honour of everybody’s favorite Star Wars actor we are gonna be climbing into space (3600 ft).
The corn is high and the forecast is sunny for a scenic ride through Maryhill, Crowsfoot, the covered bridge and a coffee stop in Elora.
Southwest Winds and some nice fall temperatures! We’ll head to the Flying Monkey for a java at the 40km mark, and then southwest before heading back up Centre Line and Watson.
